Think of a moment in your life that shifted your perception of yourself and how you fit in (or don’t).  Becoming a father.  Almost bleeding to death.  Your first kill.  Initiation is a collaborative creation in which the dancers, directors, playwright and musician have worked together over the past three months to generate movement from the inside out.  This unconventional group of dancers that includes people of all abilities use dance improvisation, text, and unison movement to create a dance theatre piece that explores their personal truths and a collective rite of passage.
